The latter of those two is the holy grail, as low light is an area the HTC One M9 suffers compared to its rivals, mostly because the auto handling doesn't give you the best results. On the list are improvements to the exposure balance, which should reduce incidences of overexposure and there's low light performance improvements, reducing blur and noise.

HTC have sent me this, but as far as I can tell it's useless in our case: Pressing vol up/down at this point gives me the first mentioned menu screen, but below the * S-ON line is Security Warning *.ġ) Can I get my phone out of this loop and back to booting normally?
